I am writing to you regarding your application for an electronic
working holiday (subclass 417) visa which was lodged on x/xx/200x.
The Health Assessment Service (HAS) in Sydney has advised that
they require further information before making a determination as
to whether you meet the health standard for entry to Australia.
Therefore, it is necessary for you to undergo a further medical
examination. You must go to the same panel doctor who performed
your initial medical examination.
It is not acceptable for you to approach alternative panel doctors
for this follow-up medical examination. You must advise the
Onshore Processing Centre (OPC) in Australia of the name of this
panel doctor by sending an email to the above email address before
you undergo a further medical examination.
Please note that all costs involved in the examination are your
own responsibility. You should carry with you some form of
identification such as a passport to present at the time of the
health examination.
Once the Australian Government office overseas receives your
reports, they will again be forwarded to HAS in Sydney for
consideration and final advice.
You are requested not to contact us during this time regarding
your medicals. We will contact you once we have received a
response from HAS in regard to a decision on your visa
application.
Yours sincerely,
Rachael Ashman
